03E987CE7600FF98E782FD73FE3BFC78.taxon	diagnosis	Diagnosis. Species of the species-group are characterised by the white ground colour of both wings with the brownish-grey or black pattern presented as rows of spots in the subbasal and medial areas, the intense brownishgrey or black suffusion along veins in the outer half of the forewing and along the veins of the hindwing. The male genitalia are characterised by the combination of the following features. (1) The uncus consists of a dorso-ventrally flattened basal plate and two elongate and slender, more or less straight distal branches. (2) The sacculus is relatively broad with two elongate and narrow processes, the ventral one of which is longer and thicker in most species. (3) The phallus has a short carina directed distally. The female genitalia of the species-group are characterised by the presence of a heavily sclerotised, lobe-like postvaginal plate, and the heavily sclerotised antrum.	en	Volynkin, Anton V., Saldaitis, Aidas (2022): Taxonomic review of the Agrisius guttivitta Walker species group with transfer of the genus Agrisius Walker to the family Nolidae Bruand and descriptions of five new species (Lepidoptera: Nolidae: Eligminae). 03E987CE7602FF9EE782FCB3FEA1FF48.taxon	diagnosis	Diagnosis. The forewing length is 19.0 – 21.0 mm in both sexes. The new species is externally similar to A. guttivitta but is distinguished by the almost blackish fore- and hindwing cilia whereas the cilia of A. guttivitta are white with blackish spots opposite the veins. Additionally, compared to A. guttivitta, A. soror has a somewhat larger discal spot and spots of the postmedial line, and a somewhat more intense greyish-brown distal suffusion on the veins of both wings. The male genital capsule of A. soror is similar to A. guttivitta but differs in the basally thinner branches of the uncus, the longer dorsal process of the sacculus and the somewhat slenderer ventral process of the sacculus. The phalli of the two species are very similar but the distal diverticulum of the vesica of A. soror is somewhat longer than in A. guttivitta. In the female genitalia of new species, the postvaginal plate is less concave posteriorly than in A. guttivitta. The antrums of the two species are similarly gelatinous, but that of A. soror is longer and anteriorly broader (in proportion to the ovipositor width) than in its congener, with somewhat broader postero-lateral processes, and bearing three heavily sclerotised plates with crests posteriorly and a weakly sclerotised plate laterally, whereas the antrum of A. guttivitta bears only two heavily sclerotised plates with thorns laterally. Additionally, the posterior (the narrowest) section of the ductus bursae of A. soror is markedly shorter than in A. guttivitta.	en	Volynkin, Anton V., Saldaitis, Aidas (2022): Taxonomic review of the Agrisius guttivitta Walker species group with transfer of the genus Agrisius Walker to the family Nolidae Bruand and descriptions of five new species (Lepidoptera: Nolidae: Eligminae). 03E987CE7605FF9EE782FBBFFB49F9DB.taxon	diagnosis	Diagnosis. The forewing length is 23.0 mm in the holotype male (Orhant 2015). The species is externally most similar to A. kachina but differs in the shorter streaks in the medial area of the forewing, and the larger discal spot. Compared to A. cernyi, A. epidela is larger in size and has shorter streaks in the medial area of the forewing, a narrower dark suffusion on the forewing veins distally, and a more intense suffusion on the hindwing veins. The male genital capsule of A. epidela differs from the aforementioned congeners in the longer branches of the uncus, the longer and thicker dorsal process of the sacculus, and the shorter and thinner ventral process of the sacculus. The phallus of A. epidela has a relatively long and narrow carina whereas it is conspicuously shorter and thicker in both congeners. The basal chamber of the vesica of A. epidela is broader than in A. cernyi and A. kachina. The distal diverticulum of A. epidela is not everted in the holotype preparation (Fig. 32) and therefore could not be compared with A. cernyi and A. kachina.	en	Volynkin, Anton V., Saldaitis, Aidas (2022): Taxonomic review of the Agrisius guttivitta Walker species group with transfer of the genus Agrisius Walker to the family Nolidae Bruand and descriptions of five new species (Lepidoptera: Nolidae: Eligminae). 03E987CE7605FF9FE782F918FC55FD97.taxon	diagnosis	Diagnosis. The forewing length is 22.0 mm in the holotype male and 21.5 mm in the paratype female. The new species is externally reminiscent of A. epidela and A. kachina but is distinguished by the somewhat smaller size and the markedly less intense dark suffusion on the hindwing veins. Additionally, compared to A. kachina, A. cernyi has a somewhat larger discal spot of the forewing. The male genital capsule of the new species is most similar to that of A. kachina but differs in the slightly longer branches of the uncus, the thicker dorsal process of the sacculus, and the distally thicker ventral process of the sacculus. The phallus of A. cernyi is markedly shorter and narrower than in A. kachina. In the vesica of the new species, the distal diverticulum is conspicuously longer than in A. kachina. In the female genitalia of A. cernyi, the postvaginal plate is longer and posteriorly rounded (whereas it is trapezoid with rounded corners in the congener), and the antrum is narrower. Additionally, the signa bursae of the new species are somewhat narrower anteriorly than in A. kachina.	en	Volynkin, Anton V., Saldaitis, Aidas (2022): Taxonomic review of the Agrisius guttivitta Walker species group with transfer of the genus Agrisius Walker to the family Nolidae Bruand and descriptions of five new species (Lepidoptera: Nolidae: Eligminae). In the original description of Agrisius fangchenglaiae, Orhant (2015) compared it with A. guttivitta and A. similis and not A. vernalis which means the fact of description of the latter species remained unknown to the author. 03E987CE7604FF9CE782FAEFFF47FBCC.taxon	diagnosis	Diagnosis. The forewing length is 19.0 – 22.0 mm in males and 21.0 – 22.0 mm in females. Agrisius vernalis is very similar externally to A. aestivalis and A. frater, and the reliable identification requires the examination of the genitalia. The male genital capsule of A. vernalis differs from A. aestivalis and A. frater in the narrower and almost parallel branches of the uncus, the markedly longer and distally thinner dorsal process of the sacculus, and the somewhat narrower ventral process of the sacculus. The phallus of A. vernalis is broader than in the aforementioned congeners and has a considerably broader, more rounded carina. The distal diverticulum of the vesica of A. vernalis is long, S-like curved and bearing a claw-like cornutus subapically whereas the distal diverticula of A. aestivalis and A. frater are much shorter and narrower with a markedly smaller cornutus situated dorsomedially. The female genitalia of A. vernalis are distinguished from A. aestivalis and A. frater by the markedly narrower postvaginal plate, the straight ventral margin of the ostium bursae (it has a deep medial incision in the congeners), and the broader, gelatinous and twisted anterior section of the ductus bursae whereas it is membranous and straight in A. aestivalis and A. frater. Additionally, the signa bursae of A. vernalis are narrower than in A. aestivalis and A. frater.	en	Volynkin, Anton V., Saldaitis, Aidas (2022): Taxonomic review of the Agrisius guttivitta Walker species group with transfer of the genus Agrisius Walker to the family Nolidae Bruand and descriptions of five new species (Lepidoptera: Nolidae: Eligminae). 03E987CE7606FF94E782FB84FD2DFE60.taxon	diagnosis	Diagnosis. The forewing length is 25.0 – 26.0 mm in males and 26.0 – 28.0 mm in females. Agrisius similis differs clearly from other congeners in its large size (the largest in the group), and thin pattern elements of the forewing (the thinnest in the group). The male genital capsule of the species differs from other congeners in the narrow basal plate of the uncus (the narrowest in the species-group), and the large dorsal process of the sacculus which is significantly longer than and curved parallel to the ventral process. The female genitalia of the species are characterised by the short, semi-circular postvaginal plate, the straight margin of the ostium bursae, and the long ductus bursae (the longest in the species-group).	en	Volynkin, Anton V., Saldaitis, Aidas (2022): Taxonomic review of the Agrisius guttivitta Walker species group with transfer of the genus Agrisius Walker to the family Nolidae Bruand and descriptions of five new species (Lepidoptera: Nolidae: Eligminae).
