Following Dalla Torre (1896: 121), Warncke (1967: 269) and Gusenleitner & Schwarz (2002: 176) considered Andrena fallax to be a junior synonym of A. chrysosceles Kirby, 1802. However, the lectotype specimen of Andrena fallax is conspecific with A. ispida Warncke, 1965, syn. nov. [corresponds to the description of A. ispida as well as specimens determined by Osytshnjuk as A. ispida in the ZISP collection]. According to article 23.9.1. of the ICZN (1999) prevailing usage of “ Andrena ispida ” as a valid name must not be maintained since A. fallax Eversmann, 1852 was mentioned as a valid name by V. Popov (1950) and A. ispida Warncke, 1965 has been mentioned in fewer than 25 publications.	en	Astafurova, Yulia V., Proshchalykin, Maxim Yu., Sidorov, Dmitry A. CF43C37CFF99FFE6FF2A6208FD32FEEC.taxon	discussion	Remark. The name Andrena fulva Eversmann, 1852 (nec A. fulva Müller, 1776) was synonymized by Warncke (1967: 273) with A. (Margandrena) marginata Fabricius, 1776. Gusenleitner & Schwarz (2002: 458) also consider A. eversmanniana Osytshnjuk, 1994 to be a junior synonym of A. (Margandrena) marginata Fabricius, 1776. However, the lectotype specimen definitely belongs to subgenus Taeniandrena and has red colouration, uncommon within this subgenus, so we accept the opinion of A. Osytshnjuk on the valid status of A. eversmanniana. Nevertheless, according to Praz et al. (2022) Taeniandrena contains a great deal of cryptic diversity, so taxonomic revision of this subgenus is needed for the status of this species to be clear.	en	Astafurova, Yulia V., Proshchalykin, Maxim Yu., Sidorov, Dmitry A. CF43C37CFF85FFFCFF2A637CFAD9F858.taxon	discussion	Remark. We have not found any specimens from Eversmann’s collection labeled as “ hirticeps ”. The current status is unclear. Andrena hirticeps Eversmann, 1852 was synonymized by Morawitz (1866: 9) with A. afzeliella (Kirby, 1802). According to Warncke (1967: 248) and Gusenleitner & Schwarz (2002: 564) the name Andrena afzeliella (Kirby, 1802) is a junior synonym of A. ovatula (Kirby, 1802). However, (Praz et al. (2022) consider A. afzeliella (Kirby, 1802) to be a valid species. Taxonomy of the subgenus Taeniandrena remains unclear and requires further revision.	en	Astafurova, Yulia V., Proshchalykin, Maxim Yu., Sidorov, Dmitry A.
