FA76990BE678FFBBFF6B5D6F81E4FF57.taxon	discussion	Notes. — The transcription of data from specimen Lehmann 5996, referred to by Krause (1906: 630) in the protologue, does not correspond to the data contained in the exsiccatae of this series (Lehmann 5996). Despite this, the specimen deposited in the herbarium K with barcode K 000583523 is the most complete, with handwriting in the label stating that it is the type. For this reason, the material K 00058352 is designated here as the lectotype for Tournefortia lobata.	en	Melo, José Iranildo Miranda De (2022): New combinations and names in Heliotropium (Heliotropiaceae) from South America, including a new occurrence for the flora of Ecuador. FA76990BE67BFFBBFF6B5B7485C6FD3B.taxon	discussion	Notes. — In the original description, Kunth (1818: 81) did not designate any material as a basis for the establishment of Tournefortia fuliginosa. However, on checking the material housed at P, four specimens of Bonpland & Humboldt s. n. were found, all of them labeled as type specimens (P 00136376, P 00136377, P 00136378, and P 00670712). Nonetheless, the specimen with barcode P 00670712, obtained in Venezuela and even, with the expression Crescit cum praecedente?, the same used in the protologue, and the most complete, with handwriting in the label stating that it is the type. For this reason, the material P 00670712 is designated here as the lectotype for T. fuliginosa.	en	Melo, José Iranildo Miranda De (2022): New combinations and names in Heliotropium (Heliotropiaceae) from South America, including a new occurrence for the flora of Ecuador.
