Vertex densely covered with punctures; frontal tubercles distinctly raised, each separated from each other by a deep furrow; antennae short, robust, extending to the middle of the elytra; antennomere 2 shortest, antennomere 3 slightly longer than 2, 1.2 x as long as second; antennomere 4 longest, twice as long as antennomeres 2 and 3 combined; antennomeres 5 - 10 gradually shortened, shorter than 4; antennomere 11 slightly longer than 10, pointed. Pronotum approximately 1.9 x as wide as long, with rounded lateral margins; disc slightly convex, sparsely covered in middle with small punctures with large punctures on other parts.
