Km 8 Neblinas-Aqua Zarca, 21°11°121°18159140N, 99849580W, 23 June 1998 and 21 August 1998. Specimens from UNSM were collected at Hidalgo, Chapulhuacan, 26–27 July 1981.</p> <p>Odopoea diriangani has previously only been reported from Nicaragua (Distant, 1881, Metcalf, 1963 a). Farias, 300 m, 26–27 July 1993. In the LSUC, there are specimens from Tamaulipas, El Cielito near Encino, 28–30 August 1985. Finally, in the UMNH there are specimens from Huichihuayan, Mexico, August 1940. This site is located in the state of San Luis Potosi.</p> <p>This species has been reported as far south as Venezuela, Colombia, and Ecuador (Metcalf, 1963 a). Specimens in LACM were collected at Veracruz, Cordoba, 12–25 July 1964.</p> <p>Metcalf (1963 a) incorrectly synonymized Z. smaragdula with Z. calochroma. The 2 species differ morphologically and can be separated with the original species descriptions.
