03D1F632FFACFF91FF5CFA355A53A87B.taxon	discussion	Notes: — Adamović (1904) described Teucrium helianthemoides on the basis of the material previously collected by Kindl at Olympus in June 1902. The specimens were collected from alpine rocky grasslands. Indumentum density, the presence of two leaf forms, size of the terminal heads, the length of the pedicle, and the structure of the calyx were noted as the main differences from the closely related T. montanum. The illustration is published in the protologue together with the description. Subsequently, Baden (1991) proposed a new status and gave a new combination — T. montanum subsp. helianthemoides. The main difference between the two Greek forms is the characteristics of the indumentum: T. montanum ssp. montanum possesses greyish-pubescent stems with reflexed hairs, appressed-puberulent on the upper side and greyish-tomentose on lower sides of the leaves, and appressed-puberulent to subglabrous calyces, whereas T. montanum ssp. helianthemoides possesses white-pilose to velutinous stems with patent hairs, patent-pilose to the velutinous upper side and tomentose to lanate lower sides of the leaves, and patent-pilose calyces (Baden 1991). The original material was found in herbarium WU and it fits with the description provided in the protologue. We here designate the specimen deposited at WU (WU 0073104) as the lectotype of the name T. helianthemoides.	en	Zbiljić, Miloš, Lakušić, Dmitar, Stevanoski, Ivana, Kuzmanović, Nevena (2022): Lectotypification of names related to Teucrium montanum L. 03D1F632FFAFFF93FF5CFF3F5F81A195.taxon	discussion	Notes: — The name Teucrium montanum var. hirsutum was proposed by Boissier (1879) to describe plants from Greece (Olympus Thessaly and Dirfi Euboea) collected by Heldreich and plants from Turkey (mount Spil above Manisa) collected by Balansa. The localities from Greece were originally cited as “ Olympo Thessalo et monte Delphi Eubeae ”, the second locality refers to Mt Dirfis on the island of Euboea (Evvia). The name ” Monte Delphi Eubeae ” is frequently used by Boissier and his contemporaries, and has sometimes been misinterpreted by later authors who incorrectly believed he was referring to the archaeological site of Delphi at the foot of Mt Parnassos (A. Strid pers. comm.). The presence of the hispid indumentum on the stems, leaves and calyxes is the most important diagnostic feature. The original material is preserved at the herbarium G, and it fits with the description provided in the protologue. We here designate the specimen G 00741484 collected in Greece as the lectotype of the name Teucrium montanum var. hirsutum.	en	Zbiljić, Miloš, Lakušić, Dmitar, Stevanoski, Ivana, Kuzmanović, Nevena (2022): Lectotypification of names related to Teucrium montanum L. 03D1F632FFAEFF93FF5CFD8B5CFCA454.taxon	discussion	Notes: — Heldreich (1898) described Teucrium montanum var. modestum on the basis of the material collected in Greece, from the alpine region of Mount Taygetos. He noted on the label that the plants from Taygetos differ from T. montanum var. parnassicum by the smaller size of leaves and corolla, and capitulum with fewer flowers. The original material of T. montanum var. modestum collected by Heldreich is deposited at multiple herbaria – JE, K, WU. We here designate the specimen WU 073103 as the lectotype of the name Teucrium montanum var. modestum as it fits best the description. The same specimen was cited as syntype in the paper of Reich et al. (2021). The name with diagnosis appears in printed label of Heldreich´s Herbarium Graecum normale.	en	Zbiljić, Miloš, Lakušić, Dmitar, Stevanoski, Ivana, Kuzmanović, Nevena (2022): Lectotypification of names related to Teucrium montanum L. 03D1F632FFAEFF93FF5CFBCB5CBFA758.taxon	discussion	Notes: — Čelakovský (1883) described Teucrium montanum var. parnassicum based on a gathering from Mount Parnassus collected by Guicciardi in July 1855. Čelakovský noted that the plant from Parnassus is smaller, densely hairy, with narrow leaves, with smaller calyx and corolla and shorter calyx teeth than the typical T. montanum. According to Čelakovský (1883), when considering the overall variability of the present forms, there are not enough differences between the typical T. montanum and his newly described variety, and he therefore described it as var. parnassicum. Subsequently, this vaiety was raised to a species level by Wettstein (1889). The original material was collected also from Aglassan-Dagh (Turkey). Wettstein noted that specimen completely correspond to those collected by Guicciardi from Parnassus. The original material of T. montanum var. parnassicum collected by Guicciardi is deposited at the herbarium S, and it fits with the description provided in the protologue. Hence, we here designate the specimen S-G 6069 as the lectotype of the name T. montanum var. parnassicum. The lectotypification of E. Bertels on the label of the specimen selected here as lectotype is not effective publication (Art. 7.10).	en	Zbiljić, Miloš, Lakušić, Dmitar, Stevanoski, Ivana, Kuzmanović, Nevena (2022): Lectotypification of names related to Teucrium montanum L. 03D1F632FFAEFF94FF5CF8FF5C41A1DD.taxon	discussion	Notes: — Kerner has described Teucrium pannonicum on the basis of material collected in Transylvania (Romania) on the southern slopes of the Mount Bihor (“ Botnos kö ”) near Beius (“ Belenyes ”). He noted that T. pannonicum differs from the typical T. montanum by the size of the plant, the presence of woolly hairs on the stem, broader leaves densely covered with soft woolly hairs on both sides, and toothed calyxes with setaceous narrow tips. Subsequently, Nyman (1881) included T. pannonicum in T. montanum s. l. while Domin (1936) proposed a new status for the species Kerner described, at the subspecies level – T. montanum subsp. pannonicum. The original specimen is deposited in the herbarium WU and it fits with the description provided in the protologue. We here designate the specimen WU 0070075 as the lectotype of the name Teucrium pannonicum.	en	Zbiljić, Miloš, Lakušić, Dmitar, Stevanoski, Ivana, Kuzmanović, Nevena (2022): Lectotypification of names related to Teucrium montanum L. 03D1F632FFA9FF94FF5CFE435EC9A57C.taxon	discussion	Notes: — The name Teucrium skorpilii was proposed by Velenovský (1890) to describe specimens collected by Škorpil in August 1888 on the rocks of Mount Tvrdica (“ Tvrdica-Balkan ”) in Bulgaria. Velenovský (1890) described T. skorpilii as a perennial plant completely covered with dense, more or less long, white-grey, protruding hairs, with toothed calyxes of which three teeth are larger and broadly triangular with abruptly setaceous narrowed tips, and with leaves that are revolute almost to the central vein. The species is close to T. montanum and should not be confused with T. pannonicum and T. parnassicum. The original material is preserved at the herbarium PRC (451944), and it fits with the description provided in the protologue. The label on this specimen is not the original written by Škorpil, the handwriting is of Velenovský. Škorpil sent the herbarium material to Velenovský in the autumn a year before he published the new name (Velenovský 1889), their collaboration and joint field trips in Bulgaria are well documented (Křivka & Holubec 2010). On this specimen there is a revision label by J. Soják stating that the specimen is typus for the name Velenovský published. An additional red label with “ HOLOTYPUS ” was added by a curator of the PRC based on Soják’s note (P. Mraz pers. comm.). According to Art. 9.1. Note 1, if the author used only one specimen or illustration (cited or uncited), when preparing the description of the new taxon, it must be accepted as the holotype. However, the possibility that the author used additional, uncited specimens or illustrations (which may have been lost or destroyed) must always be considered. Taking this into account, we prefer to designate the specimen PRC 451944 as the lectotype of the name T. skorpilii, as we cannot be sure whether Velenovský used only one specimen when describing the new species.	en	Zbiljić, Miloš, Lakušić, Dmitar, Stevanoski, Ivana, Kuzmanović, Nevena (2022): Lectotypification of names related to Teucrium montanum L.
