Diagnosis. This new species differs from Homogryllacris brevipenna Du, Bian & Shi, 2016 by margins of pronotum darker, disc with 1 pair of black spots (Fig. 3C); posterior margin of male subgenital plate with wider and shallower median concavity (Fig. 3L), the lateral lobes small and triangular with external margin short, faintly concave (Fig. 3H). While the latter species has the median concavity of subgenital plate deeper and narrower, the lateral lobes triangular, apices acute (Du et al., 2016: Fig. 2E, G). It differs from Homogryllacris biloba (Bey-Bienko, 1957) by the black color patterns of pronotum and the shape of male subgenital plate.

Description. Male. Body medium-sized. Face with scattered impressed dots (Fig. 3A). Fastigium verticis wider than scape. Fastigium frontis separated from fastigium verticis by a very fine suture (Fig. 3A). Ocelli distinct.

Pronotum projected slightly in the median area of anterior margin, posterior margin nearly straight (Fig. 3C); lateral lobes longer than high (Fig. 3B).

Fore coxae with 1 spine. Fore and middle femora unarmed on ventral surfaces; hind femora with 5–6 internal and 3–6 external spines on ventral surface. Fore and middle tibiae with 5 pairs of ventral spurs, including 1 pair of apical ones, middle tibiae with 1 internal spine on dorsal surface (Fig. 3E); hind tibiae with 4 internal and 6–7 external spines on dorsal surface, apices with 1 pair of dorsal spurs, 1 pair of subapical ventral spurs and 2 pairs of ventral spurs.

Tegmina reduced, extending only to the middle area of metanotum (Fig. 3D). Second and third abdominal tergites each with 2 rows of stridulatory pegs (Fig. 3F). Eighth abdominal tergite slightly prolonged. Ninth abdominal tergite prolonged backward and ventrad, triangular in dorsal view, posterior margin with large concavity (Fig. 3G). Tenth abdominal tergite with 1 pair of depressed processes, crossing each other in basal area, the other parts arched curved ventrad; apical areas sclerotized, apices acute, its directing forward (Fig. 3G, H). Subgenital plate longer than wide, basal margin nearly straight, the lateral margins subparallel, posterior margin with 1 large median concavity, the lateral lobes small and triangular with the internal margin obliquely straight and the external margin shorter and arched (Fig. 3L). Styli incurved, inserted at apico-lateral angles of subgenital plate (Fig. 3L).

Female. Unknown.

Coloration. Body yellowish brown. Antennal cavities with black margins (Fig. 3A). Fronto-clypeal suture with 1 pair of black spots (Fig. 3A). Fastigium frontis with 1 pair of circular black spots, fastigium verticis with 1 transversal black stripe (Fig. 3A). Dorsal surface of head with three black spots, forming semicircular. Pronotum with black margins, disc with 1 pair of oblique stripes (Fig. 3C). Dorsal surface of mesonotum, metanotum and abdomen black. Apical areas of femora and tibiae reddish brown (Fig. 3E). Tegmina brown (Fig. 3D).

Measurements (mm). Male (holotype): BL 16.94, PL 3.60, TL 3.01, HFL 8.9.
