4E7F87DEFFA5FFBDFF74003EC305FECD.taxon	materials_examined	Type locality: Mexico, State of Puebla, environs of Puebla City (exact locality unknown). Notes: The precise type locality of the new species cannot be given. The holotype was discovered during a review of the insect collection of the IEXA. All we know is that it was collected in the year 2001 by students of the Biology Faculty during a collecting trip in the environs of the city of Puebla. Unfortunately, the exact collecting data were not noted — a well-known problem with unexperienced students. Thus, we can be only sure that the holotype was collected near Puebla City or at least in the State of Puebla. Material studied: Holotype: ♂, “ México, alrededores / Ciudad de Puebla. / Recolecta 2001 / Colector desconocido ” [printed], “ Holotipo / Cybister poblanus / Arce-Pérez y Novelo-Gutiérrez det. / 2021 ” [red, printed] (IEXA) (see Fig. 1 c). The holotype lacks three antennomeres of each antenna as well as the claws of the left fore-leg and of the left hind-leg.	en	Arce-Pérez, Roberto, Novelo-Gutiérrez, Rodolfo, Fery, Hans (2021): Cybister (s. str.) poblanus sp. n. from Mexico and notes on other species of Cybistrinae (Coleoptera: Dytiscidae).
