Host plants were identified by Humberto Mendoza, Fabian Michelangeli, and Theodore Cochrane from field photographs and identifications are provided in Table 1. Prey insects were preserved in 96% ethanol together with the feeding Bactrodes individuals. Prey and trapped carrion specimens were classified to order and family, where possible, using standard insect identification literature. The identity of egg parasitoids as a species of Trichogramma (Trichogrammatidae) and a species of Telenomus (Scelionidae) were confirmed by Richard Stouthamer and Norman Johnson, respectively.

http://treatment.plazi.org/id/03E187F2FFF7FFCDFF77FBE2A0A62111	Public Domain	No known copyright restrictions apply.
