Carapace length 0.46 Ô 0.03 mm. Distance from tip of dorsal spine to tip of rostral spine 1.50 Ô 0.03 mm.</p> <p>Carapace (&#142;gure 1a). Dorsal spine long, distally curved and spinulate and longer than rostral spine; rostral spine straight with three small spines distally and shorter than antennal protopod; lateral spines present and short; anterodorsal setae absent; one pair of posterodorsal setae present; each ventral margin without setae; eyes sessile.</p> <p>Antennule (&#142;gure 4a). Uniramous; endopod absent; exopod unsegmented with three long (two stout1 one thinner) aesthetascs, one short, slender aesthetasc and one small seta, all terminal.</p> <p>Antenna (&#142;gure 5a, b). Protopod longer than rostral spine and distally spinulate; with a minute protopodal spine; exopod ca 12% length of protopod with one short terminal seta.</p> <p>Mandible. Asymmetrical; right molar with two teeth and left molar with one tooth, con uent with incisor process; endopod palp absent.</p> <p>Maxillule (&#142;gure 6a). Each fork long and not spinulate, with one stout lateral spine, one minute lateral seta and one stout dorsomedial spine; posterior margin with three pairs of stout spinulate setae.</p> <p>Zoea II</p> <p>Size. Carapace length 0.52 Ô 0.05 mm. Distance from tip of dorsal spine to tip of rostral spine 1.68 Ô 0.09 mm.</p> <p>Carapace (&#142;gures 1b, 3a).
