Body 2.65–2.80 times longer than wide, mature colour black. Elytra with long, soft, semi-erect and strongly curved interstrial setae; strial setae shorter, recumbent. Declivity distinctly punctate, in females weakly bisulcate, surface transversely wrinkled.
