Comments on the records of some species are as follows. Metadiaptomus purcelli (Sars, 1907). Most records of this species are by Sars (1907), in Bergvliet, Cape Town and Cape Flats. Several new localities can be added to the distribution of this species. Metadiaptomus capensis (Sars, 1907) was previously known from only a few localities: Green Point Common (Sars, 1907) and Namaqualand, Sirkelsvlei (Rayner, 1999 b). Its distribution now includes many more localities in the area of Cape Town and the westernmost part of the Cape Province.	en	Suárez-Morales, E., Rayner, Nancy A.
