Epandrium subquadrate, nearly as long as wide, and with distinct lateral extension at base in lateral view; gonocoxa with slightly narrow apical portion uniformly wide, with a rather narrow middle incision apically and apico-lateral lobes wide and obtuse apically in ventral view; gonostylus without basal process, its acute tip strongly curved in lateral view; phallus nearly quadrate and parallel-sided in dorsal view.

Female. Body length 10 mm, wing length 11 mm. Similar to male, but abdominal tergites with long dense black setae laterally and large mid-posterior area bare.

Type material. Holotype male, CHINA: Yunnan, Kunming, 29. VII. 2006, Wenliang Li. Paratype 1 female, CHINA: Guangxi, Ningming, 16. V. 2006, Kuiyan Zhang.

Distribution. China (Yunnan, Guangxi).

Etymology. The species is named after the type locality Yunnan.

Remarks. The new species is similar to H. velutina (Wiedemann), but it can be separated from the latter by the hyaline apical part of cell cua 1 very small, subtriangular, 1/4 as long as the infuscate part, and the phallus not narrowing apically. In H. velutina, the hyaline apical part of cell cua 1 is rather large, nearly as long as the infuscate part; the phallus is slightly narrowing apically (Zaitzev, 1966).

http://treatment.plazi.org/id/03AEA11CFFFAFFB370E698A8FBA6F800	Public Domain	No known copyright restrictions apply.
