            <p>Diagnosis. Antenna black; frons with 1 pale curved hair on postero­lateral slope; coxae black; FI with row of long ventral hairs (the longest hair twice as long as width of FI).</p>
            <p>Description. Male body length 5.8–8.5 mm, wing length 6.0– 8.3 mm.</p>
            <p>Head metallic green with pale gray pollen; vertex distinctly excavated, frons subshining. Hairs and bristles on head black; middle and lower postocular bristles (including postero­ventral hairs) pale; frons with 1 strong pvt and 1 pale curved hair on postero­lateral slope, ocellar tubercle with 2 long strong oc. Antenna black; scape somewhat swollen; pedicel with circlet of apical bristles (including 1 long dorsal bristle); first flagellomere triangular, as long as wide; arista apical, black, simple, 1.6 times longer than head + thorax. Proboscis brownish with blackish hairs; palpus blackish with brown hairs and 2 black bristles.</p>
            <p>Thorax metallic green with pale gray pollen. Hairs and bristles on thorax black; 2 strong posterior dc and 3 anterior hairs; 3–4 long irregularly paired acr; scutellum with 2 pairs of sc, basal pair short and weak. Legs brownish yellow; coxae and trochanters black; It 1 brown, It 2­5 and IIt dark brown, III t blackish. Hairs and bristles on legs black; coxae with pale hairs. CI with 2 spine­like apico­lateral bristles; CII with 1 spine­like apico­lateral bristle at apical 1/5. Femora with pale ventral hairs: FI with row of long ventral hairs (the longest hairs twice as long as width of FI); FII and FIII with row of short hair­like av and pv on basal half (as long as width of corresponding FII and FIII). TI with 1 ad at basal 1/6, 1 pd at middle and 2 pv, apically with 3 bristles; TII with 3 ad, apically with 3 bristles; TIII with 10–14 pd and 1–3 av, apically with 3 bristles. It 1 apical 4/5 and It 2­5 somewhat flattened with very short dense ventral pubescence (Figs. 1–2). Relative lengths of tibia and tarsomeres: LI 4.0: 3.4: 0.9: 0.7: 0.5: 0.3; LII 6.9: 5.3: 1.3: 1.0: 0.6: 0.4; LIII 8.3: 3.2: 1.5: 0.9: 0.5: 0.3. Wing hyaline, tinged with brown, veins dark brown; M 1 concave, crossvein m­cu moderately sinuate. Squama dark yellow with dark brown hairs. Halter yellowish with pale knob.</p>
            <p>Abdomen dark metallic green with gray pollen. Hairs and bristles on abdomen black, but sterna 1–2 with pale hairs.</p>
            <p>Male genitalia (Fig. 3): Epandrium distinctly longer than wide with 2 short lateral hairs; surstylus rather thick, apically with some weak bristles and basally with a short finger­like lateral process; hypandrium with narrow left lateral arm, nearly reaching apex of aedeagus; cercus furcate, with long pale bristles.</p>

The new species is quite similar to  C. cyaneculiscutum in the color of antennae, coxae and legs, but can be easily separated from the latter by the following characters: palpus blackish, 2 strong posterior dc and 3 anterior hairs, It 1 somewhat flattened with very short dense ventral pubescence on basal 4/5; in  C. cyaneculiscutum , palpus yellowish, 2 strong posterior dc and 4 anterior hairs, It 1 somewhat flattened with very short dense ventral pubescence on basal 1/3. </p>

Hairs and bristles on head black; middle and lower postocular bristles (including postero­ventral hairs) pale; frons with 1 pvt and 1 group of 5–6 long thick pale hairs on postero­lateral slope, ocellar tubercle with 2 long strong oc. Antenna brownish yellow; scape somewhat swollen; pedicel with circlet of apical bristles (including 2 long ventral bristles); first flagellomere triangular, nearly as long as wide; arista apical, blackish except narrow base brown, slightly longer than head + thorax. Hairs and bristles on head black; middle and lower postocular bristles (including postero­ventral hairs) pale; frons with 1 long and 1 short strong pvt and 1 long pale curved hair on postero­lateral slope, ocellar tubercle with 2 long strong oc and 2 rather short bristles. Antenna black; scape somewhat swollen; pedicel with circlet of apical bristles (including 1 long thick dorsal and 1 long thick ventral bristles, the ventral much longer than the dorsal); first flagellomere subconical, 2.2 times longer than wide; arista apical, blackish, simple, 1.2 times longer than head + thorax. Proboscis brown with blackish hairs; palpus blackish with pale hairs and 2 black bristles.</p>

Legs black; coxae and trochanters black; apices of femora, bases and apices of tibiae, and t 2­5 brownish, t 1 dark yellow. Hairs and bristles on legs black; coxae with pale lateral hairs. TI with 2 ad and 1 pv at apical 1/5, apically with 2 short bristles; TII with 1 ad at basal 1/6, 1 long av at basal 1/6 and 2 short av, apically with 1 long and 2 short bristles; TIII with 2 ad, 6 – 7 pv, apically with 2 long and 1 short bristles. It 1 somewhat flattened with very short dense ventral pubescence on basal 4/5 (Fig. 9); IIt 2 with 5 av and 5 pv; IIIt 1 with 1 av at extreme base. Relative lengths of tibia and tarsomeres: LI 2.5: 1.6: 0.7: 0.5: 0.3: 0.2; LII 3.9: 2.9: 1.8: 0.7: 0.3: 0.2; LIII 5.5: 2.2: 1.1: 0.8: 0.4: 0.3. Wing: hyaline, tinged with brown; veins dark brown, M 1 concave, crossvein m­cu straight. Squama dark yellow, margin pale with pale hairs. Halter yellowish with yellow knob.</p>
            <p>Abdomen dark metallic green with gray pollen. Hairs and bristles on segments 1–4 pale, but sterna 5 – 7 with black bristles.</p>
            <p>Male genitalia (Fig. 10): Epandrium much longer than wide with 1 lateral hair; surstylus rather thick, basally with a short finger­like lateral process; hypandrium with narrow left lateral arm, nearly reaching apex of aedeagus; cercus furcate, with long black bristles.</p>
            <p>Female. Unknown.</p>

            <p>Distribution. China (Guangdong).</p>
            <p>Etymology. The specific name refers to the type locality Zengcheng.</p>
            <p> Remarks. The new species is very similar to  C. hainanum , but can be easily recognized by the following characters: fore coxa blackish, male cercus furcated; in  C. hainanum , fore coxa yellow, male cercus long and finger­like. </p>
