03E787A2FFE1B25CFF73FE5BFEE4FE39.taxon	diagnosis	Diagnosis. The wing pattern of the only species of the new genus (Figs 1, 2) is similar to that of the genera Prabadra gen. nov. (Figs 3 – 6), Chinasa (Figs 7, 8) and Prabhasa (Figs 9, 10) due to the presence of a mustard yellow streak along the forewing costa interrupted by the postmedial costal spot, but the male and female genitalia structures are unique among the known members of the subtribe Lithosiina. The male genitalia (Figs 19, 20) are clearly different from those of other members of the Prabhasa / Zadadra generic complex (Figs 21 – 32) and characterized by the combination of the following autapomorphic features: (1) the uncus is swollen, broadly triangular, bearing rounded lateral lobes, (2) the costa of valva is heavily sclerotized medially and distally and bears two processes that are asymmetrical: the left valva with broadly bifurcated process, while the right valva with single, reduced to a small, shortly dentate tubercle, (3) the ventral edge of the sacculus bears a row of various-sized thorn-shaped denticles, (4) the distal saccular process is short, flattened, plate-like, with irregularly dentate margins, fused with the distal end of the costa. Additionally, the aedeagus of the new genus is short and thick, whereas in other related genera it is narrow and elongate. The aedeagus vesica of Dentadra gen. nov. is armed with two clusters of robust, various-sized triangular cornuti, whereas in other genera, the vesica generally lacks sclerotized elements and only in Prabadra gen. nov. it bears a single narrow cornutus. The intervalval commissura of the new genus is short, connecting valvae basally only, like in Prabhasa, but the latter genus differs fundamentally from Dentadra gen. nov. by its structure of uncus, valva and ornamentation of vesica. The female genitalia of Dentadra gen. nov. Sexual dimorphism limited: in male (Fig. 1), forewing less elongate, with cell bearing elongate area of androconial scales along the basal two thirds of vein R, and tip of abdomen covered in mustard yellow hair-like scales; in female (Fig. 2), forewing lacking androconial scales, and abdomen monotonous brown. Body dark brown, frons mustard yellow. Forewing dark brown with blackish brown suffusion medially and subterminally; costal margin mustard yellow with dark brown postmedial spot and thin blackish outer edge in basal half; cilia mustard yellow. Hindwing monotonous dark brown. Male genitalia (Figs 19, 20). Uncus swollen, broadly triangular, with rounded lateral lobes. Tegumen short, weak, dilated and fused apically at uncus. Vinculum short, weak, rectangular with rounded corners. Juxta weakly sclerotized. Intervalval commissura short, connecting approximately basal one fourth of valvae. Valva relatively short, lobe-like; costa heavily sclerotized medially and distally, bearing asymmetrical ventral processes: the left valva with broadly bifurcated process, while the right valva with single, reduced to a small, shortly dentate tubercle. Cucullus short, represented as short rounded protrusion of costa. Ventral edge of sacculus bearing row of various-sized thorn-shaped denticles; distal saccular process short, flattened, plate-like, with irregularly dentate margins, fused with distal end of costa. Aedeagus short and thick, its carinal plate short, broad, rounded, with dentate distal margin; main chamber of aedeagus vesica short but broad, nearly globular, bearing two clusters of robust, various-sized triangular cornuti; vesica ejaculatorius originates subbasally. Female genitalia (Fig. 33). Papillae anales trapezoidal with rounded corners. Apophyses long and thin, apophyses anteriores longer than apophyses posteriores. Ostium bursae wide. Unfortunately, the second author of the present paper did not locate this specimen in the NHMUK collection. Adults (Figs 3 – 6) are externally similar to those of Chinasa (Figs 7, 8). The sexual dimorphism is limited than in Zadadra (Figs 11 – 18) due to the less modified forewing shape and venation of male. The male genital capsule of the new genus (Figs 23 – 25) is similar to that of Zadadra (Figs 27 – 32), but in Prabadra gen. nov. the intervalval commissura is longer, the sacculus is less prominent ventrally, the distal saccular process is club-shaped and its distal dilated section is heavily setose (an autapomorphic feature). Additionally, the cucullus of Prabadra gen. nov. is dilated, with a ventral plate covering the distal saccular process outwardly (an autapomorphic feature), whereas the cucullus and the distal saccular process of Zadadra are well-separated from each other. The aedeagus vesica of Prabadra gen. nov. bears a stick-like cornutus, whereas in Zadadra, cornutus is absent. Compared to Chinasa (Fig. 26), the male genital capsule of Prabadra gen. nov. is characterized by the shorter intervalval commissura, the dilated cucullus having a ventral plate covering the club-shaped distal saccular process outwardly (whereas in Chinasa, the cucullus is tapered distally and rounded apically and well-separated from the blade-shaped distal saccular process). The aedeagus vesica of Prabadra gen. nov. bears a stick-like cornutus, whereas the vesica of Chinasa lacks cornuti. The new species has no remarkable external differences from P. monastyrskii. The male forewing is shorter and broader than that of female, its distal part is slightly curved posteriorly, and the anal and outer margins are convex. Additionally, the forewing cell of the male is narrow and bearing a longitudinal row of androconial scales continuing to the basal part of the area between the veins Cu 1 and M 2 – 3. The male hindwing is conspicuously broader than that of female and bearing a wide dark area of androconial scales at the costa (the character unique among the genera of the generic complex). The female forewing is long and narrow, nearly straight. The male genitalia of the genus (Figs 27 – 32) are characterized by the combination of the following diagnostic characters: (1) the juxta is narrow, weakly sclerotized, its distal end is connected to the intervalval commissura by a membrane; (2) the intervalval commissura is thick membranous with a weakly sclerotized medial area, connecting from one third to a half of valvae (an autapomorphic feature); (3) the cucullus is weakly sclerotized, well-separated from the distal saccular process; (4) the sacculus is heavily sclerotized, wide, lobe-like (an autapomorphic feature); (5) the distal saccular process is short but broad, robust, without setae. 03E787A2FFE9B250FF73FCBBFA68FEA9.taxon	diagnosis	Diagnosis. The forewing length is 16.5 – 18 mm in males and 19 – 20 mm in females. The new species is externally similar to its closest relative Z. distorta, but differs by its somewhat paler forewing. In many cases the reliable identification is possible by the genitalia structures only. The male genital capsule of Z. confusa sp. nov. differs clearly from that of Z. distorta by the longer uncus, the shorter juxta, the much broader and slightly curved cucullus (in Z. distorta, it is straight, narrow and somewhat dilated apically), the more rectangular lobe of the sacculus (that is more rounded in Z. distorta), and the broader, more or less bean-shaped and less sclerotized distal saccular process (in Z. distorta, it is crescent and more heavily sclerotized). The aedeagus of the new species is slightly longer than that of Z. distorta and bears a longer carina. The aedeagus vesica of Z. confusa sp. nov. is slightly longer than that of Z. distorta, tapered apically and curved ventrally, whereas that of Z. distorta is nearly straight and uniformly wide). The species is known from Nepal, Northeastern India (Sikkim, north of West Bengal, Arunachal Pradesh) (Joshi et al. 2015, as Z. distorta), Bhutan and China (Tibet) (Fang 2000, part).
