One of us (SAG) has also collected this species from the Big South Fork Cumberland River in northern Tennessee. These specimens were once determined as S. onkos (Ricker), a species shown to be distributed mainly in the northeastern Nearctic region by Kondratieff &amp; Kirchner (2009).
