DISTRIBUTION: Endemic to Brazil, presently known only from the type locality (Amazonas State, Manaus, Ducke Reserve) .

HABITAT RECORDS: Streams (Perkins & Ribera 2020); temporary pools, ex. leaf litter and exposed roots (Benetti et al. 2021).
